St Mary's Thistle is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine:
- as a liver tonic and to enhance liver health
- to help promote healthy liver function
- for symptomatic relief of non-specific dyspepsia
- to relieve symptoms of indigestion.
As an antioxidant herb which scavenges free radicals.

Adults: 1 tablet 2-3 times daily

Ingredients -
Silybum marianum (St Mary’s Thistle) extract 240 mg
derived from min. seed dry 16.8 g
standardised to contain flavanolignans calculated as silybin 168 mg
Warnings, Cautions and Contraindications -
- In anaemia and cases where iron supplementation is required, do not take simultaneously with meals or iron supplements.
- Not to be taken at the same time with immunosuppressive drugs, and caution is advised in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressive drugs.
- Contraindicated in patients taking domperidone.
- Caution in patients taking metronidazole, ornidazole, insulin or oral hypoglycaemic drugs, talinolol, methadone and nifedipine.
- Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.

No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours.
Excipients -
Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.
