Myrrh Forte contains Commiphora myrrha which is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a vermifuge to remove threadworms and pinworms, and as an expectorant to decrease bronchial mucous congestion.

Myrrh is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine:

as a vermifuge to remove threadworms / pinworms
as an expectorant to relieve bronchial mucous congestion
to promote healthy digestion
to relieve symptoms of dyspepsia including as a carminative to relieve flatulence.

Dosage and Administration

Adults: Vermifuge: take 4 to 8 tablets daily in pulse dosing (3 days on, 4 days off)

Ingredients -

Commiphora myrrha (Myrrh) extract 1.5 mL

derived from stem bark resin dry 500 mg

Warnings, Cautions and Contraindications -

Children under two years of age should not be treated for symptoms of respiratory tract infections without medical advice.
Do not use if pregnant or likely to become pregnant.
Contraindicated in known allergy.
Caution is advised during lactation due to potential allergy.
Avoid long-term, continuous use (more than a few weeks at a time).
Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
If coughing persists, seek additional professional advice.

Allergen Information -

No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours.

Excipients -

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.
